Manga:
My most resent addiction is manga drawing. Most of my lecture notes from university has got their markings of this addiction. I have always been fond of drawing oversized soulful eyes, but it’s first recently I’ve started properly getting into all the aspects of the magna style. There are many different styles within the manga cartoon style, and I’m not sure which one I’m using in my artwork. Probably a mixture of the different styles learning what I like about the different manga artists.

My favourite manga films are currently “Ghost in a shell” and of course the core “Akira”. I also watch the children’s manga series on TV like for example “Card captors” from time to time, but tend to find them kind of low budget compared to proper full length manga films. Still though, they are sources for learning manga drawing.

I also experiment with the more erotic styles of manga. Maybe because hentai (the erotic side of manga) is the most common style featured on the internet. There has to be said that all hentai isn't 'filthy', and there are some brilliant pieces of hentai artwork to be found on the net. If you are going to look for hentai on the internet, be prepared for a shock as there is a lot of the more questionable artwork out there.
